You get what you pay for.
On day one of his administration, Joe Biden either reversed or stopped enforcing all of the Trump-era sanctions on Iran. As a result, Iran, the world's largest state sponsor of terrorism, has been enriched by over 200 billion dollars, much of which has been spent on building weapons. Many were provided to its terrorist proxy in Gaza. Last October, Hamas attacked Israel; over a thousand Israelis were killed... along with Americans, too.
Last week, Iran gave its terrorist proxies a rest and launched a direct attack on Israel; hundreds of drones, along with cruise and ballistic missiles, were fired. Had it not been for Israel's incredible air defense systems, thousands more Israelis... and Americans, would have been killed.
Last night, Israel retaliated. It wasn't a massive attack... there was no devastation, no smoking ruins; Israel's limited engagement was more of a message delivery: "We can hit you whenever, wherever." It wasn't a weak and meaningless "Don't," it was "Do it again and we'll blow you straight to hell."
Except, that might be exactly what Iran wants. Thanks to financing provided by Joe Biden, Iran is close to completing... if not already in possession of, a deliverable nuclear device. Israel has a hundred or more; a nuclear attack on Israel would be crazy. It would be a suicide mission, for sure, but the radical Islamists who control Iran are firm believers in the Twelfth Imam Prophecy, which is about as crazy as it gets. Armageddon fulfills the prophecy, and with each escalation, that's ever-more likely.
Tensions between Iran and Israel continue to grow, the prospects for an all-out war that could suck Iran's allies into the conflict, chief amongst them, nuclear armed China and Russia, are increasing. Just last year, Joe Biden said, "Armageddon is a possibility;" he was talking about Ukraine... add to that the Middle East and you've got the potential for untold disasters.
Which is why it's so comforting to know that America's interests and safety are in the ever-so capable hands of Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, and President Joe Biden. Nothing could possibly go wrong with "Wynken, Blynken, and Nod" in charge, especially the latter who'd, no doubt...
Nod off and sleep right through the World War 3 he paid for.
