And there's no please about it!
If, in a delusional moment, I decided to take a trip to Mexico, in order for me to step one foot into that country, I'd be required to produce a valid passport. Any attempt to enter Mexico without one would guarantee me an appearance on the TV show, "Locked-Up Abroad."
Which seems so strange as I'm standing there on the border with my required passport in hand. Strange because I'd be watching hundreds of thousands of people from who-knows-where heading north without any sort of ID at all. And once across the wide-open U.S. border, the welcome wagon would be waiting.
Stranger still, were I to come to my senses before doing something so stupid as to visit Mexico and put my passport away, soon, I might need another kind of passport just to leave my house... a coronavirus vaccination verification passport.
That's what the Biden/Harris administration wants to implement through a public-private partnership.... so says White House Press Secretary, Jen "Circle-Back" Psaki, the slightly less incoherent voice of Joe Biden. Apparently, the plan is, in order to ensure everyone submits to a coronavirus vaccination, documentation of a person's vaccination status will be 'provided'... a less dictatorial-sounding synonym for 'required.'
But what happens if you don't want a vaccination... if you don't have a vaccination verification passport? Mightn't your public and private freedoms be put in serious jeopardy?
They might, indeed, and the limitations imposed upon your liberties could be profound. For instance: No coronavirus vaccination verification passport... no job, no admittance to public and private buildings, no access to public transportation, entry into another state, city, or town could be denied... your driver's license, tax refund, Social Security, Medicare and other benefits could be restricted or withheld. The possibilities are endless.
Whilst the Biden/Harris administration can't command an American citizen get vaccinated... not yet, at least, with their public-private partnership, they could make it very difficult to even exist, let alone enjoy a free and worth-living life. It'll be, "Show me your papers" all over again.
And if you think none of that could possibly happen in a "free society," just consider all the other heretofore unheard-of freedom crushing restrictions and lockdowns politicians have imposed upon us over the past year.
Requiring a vaccination verification passport isn't an abstract, and nothing the Biden/Harris administration threatens to do should be dismissed out-of-hand. If ever a dictatorial, totalitarian, constitution-be-damned moment existed in American history, it's happening now, and we'd all better beware... and be very worried, if not outright scared crap-less.
Except, that is, all those passport-free, unvaccinated illegal aliens invading by the hundreds of thousands... whilst you won't, they'll be free to do anything they want.
