Joe Biden. He's No Obi Wan Kenobi...

Yesterday, the GDP numbers were released... revealed was a second quarter in a row in the red, the heretofore undisputed definition of a recession.
Upon their release, Joe Biden, with none of the wisdom, expertise, competence, coherence, or agility... either physical or intellectual, of a Jedi Master, stumbled to the microphone and tried to convince the American people that this isn't the recession you've been looking for... well, you've been fearing, that is.
But, when it comes to democrat politicians and language, they have a habit of redefining reality. For instance... democrat politicians refer to full-blown riots as "mostly peaceful protests." Democrat politicians support the notion that biological men can become pregnant, but they can't define the word "woman." Democrat politicians refuse to say the invasion of millions of illegal aliens is a crisis... they call it a "challenge;" wide-open borders are "secure." Democrat politicians describe a deadly and disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal as an "extraordinary success." Democrat politicians swore inflation would be "transitory." Democrat politicians... well, a dwindling number of them, believe Joe Biden isn't a doddering, incoherent, senile old man.
So... with democrat politicians busily engaged in all that reality-redefinition... whilst solving none of those "challenges," how are we to know whether we're in a recession or not? Obi Wan Kenobi would ask you to consider a few simple questions... simple for you, that is; confounding and unanswerable for Joe Biden...
Since Joe Biden became president, are the prices of just about everything higher? Have interest rates risen significantly? Has the stock market retreated to pre-Joe Biden levels? Has there been a second straight quarter of GDP shrinkage? Has your income kept pace with inflation? If your answers were yes, yes, yes, yes... and a resounding NO, then a recession it is, and no amount of redefining reality by democrat politicians will change it.
Obi Wan Kenobi would suggest the president close his eyes and "feel the force," but that would be a big mistake... he'll just take a nap. Besides... with what Joe Biden has done to America, it isn't the force we're feeling...
It's the farce.
